BEIJING, April 27 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang on Sunday urged Hainan Province, China's largest special economic zone (SEZ), to further carry out reform and opening up as it embraces its 20th anniversary.     The province should "beef up reforms and make efforts to achieve breakthroughs in key fields", said Li during his inspection tour to the island province from Thursday to Sunday.     He suggested that the province should build itself into a shipping hub and center of logistics and export-oriented processing facing southeast Asia. BEIJING, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met with visiting Qatar Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasim Bin Jabir Al-Thani here on Thursday. The two sides agreed to step up bilateral friendly and cooperative relations.     Wen hailed the development of bilateral ties on the basis of respect, equality and mutual benefits over the past 20 years since the two countries established diplomatic ties. He expressed China's appreciation of Qatar's adherence to the one-China policy. BEIJING, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- China values its friendly ties with Cuba and is willing to work with Cuba to push bilateral relationship to a new height, Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang said on Thursday.   Li made the remarks when meeting with Jose Ramon Fernandez Alvarez, vice president of the Cuban Council of Ministers, here on Thursday.     Li said Sino-Cuban relations were at a new stage of development, as the two countries had maintained frequent high-level contact and increased economic cooperation and consultation in international affairs. BEIJING, July 22 (Xinhua) -- From anti-terrorism drills to halt of flights during the opening ceremony, Beijing is taking every possible measure to ward off terrorism and ensure security for next month's Olympic Games.     China Civil Aviation Administration announced on Tuesday a new move for Olympic security that no planes would be allowed to take off or land at Beijing Capital International Airport from 7 p.m. to midnight on Aug. 8, the night of the Games' opening ceremony.
